The Census is currently in the "Awareness/Education Phase" now through March 12, 2020. After that, the participation phase continues through May 20, 2020. Citizens can get more details on the website below, at the local library and in media.

Bridget Compton is completing her first month managing the added job responsibilities that go with the title of Adair County Solid Waste Coordinator. She said Adair needs a lot of work to solve the waste problems we have and she is in training to see what grants may be available to help the situation. One example, from the Public Square to the Russell County line on East 80, Jerry Antle and his crew reported last week having picked up 130 bags of litter on the roadside in just that short distance. Bridget manages this duty along with her other responsibilities as Adair County Fiscal Court Clerk, Human Resources Director and Executive Secretary. She can be reached at bridget.acjudge@gmail.com or by phone at 270-384-4703.
