CPD: Property Damage DUI By Officer Adam Cravens, PIO Columbia Police Department On Saturday, December 28, 2019, shortly before 9pmCT, Columbia Police Department officers responded to property damage on Fairground Street, where a vehicle took out several feet of fence row bordering the former VFW building and fled the scene. After a brief search, both vehicle and operator were located on HWY 61 South near Walmart. Alexander Evans, 19, of Columbia, was placed into custody and charged with leaving the scene of an accident as well as DUI 1st Offense. Officer Trevor Foster was the arresting Officer. He was assisted with search and on scene by Officer John Dial, Deputy Justin Cross and the Kentucky State Police. This story was posted on 2019-12-29 12:06:13
