CPD: Injury accident on parkway

Columbia Police Department officers responded to a single vehicle wreck with injury on the Louis B. Nunn Cumberland Parkway on Friday evening, December 27, 2019.

The accident occurred when Trevor Smith, 46, of Russell Springs, was operating a 1994 Toyota truck. Smith was entering the parkway in the eastbound lane when he lost control, left the roadway, hit a rock wall, and overturned.

Smith was transported by Adair County EMS to TJ Health Columbia for treatment.

Officer Drew Conn investigated the accident. He was assisted on scene by Officers Evan Burton and Trevor Foster.
