Special events on track through the season Discussion at last week's Columbia Adair Chamber of Commerce Board meeting covered the very special season we are in and local events. Debbie Selby and ACHS received a big thank you for managing another successful Halloween Treats on The Town. Excitement is building around the annual Christmas in Columbia celebration which comes up Saturday, December 7, 2019. Click here for the day's schedule of events Grand Marshals of the "Lights Over Columbia" Christmas parade at the end of the day's celebrations will be the members of the downtown Christmas decorations committee: Donna Bryant, Sandy Conover, Pam Grant, and Lucy Irvin. The annual Chamber Christmas gathering will be held at the Pines Tuesday, December 10, 2019. Tickets are five dollars each and in order to provide food for everyone, please call the chamber, 270.384.6020, to RSVP by Monday, December 9. The annual Shop Local program held by the Chamber each year will last from November 19 through December 10, 2019. Shoppers can pick up bags and entry tickets toward prizes at the Chamber office, 201 Burkesville Street, Columbia, KY.
