LWC Men's basketball hosts Brown & Brown - Sleep Inn Classic

The Lindsey Wilson men's basketball team hosts the Brown & Brown - Sleep Inn Classic on Friday, November 15 and Saturday, November 16 at Biggers Sports Center, 360 Spickard Drive, Columbia, KY. The Blue Raiders will play against Missouri Baptist at 5pmCT on Friday and Oakwood (AL) at 8pmCT on Saturday.

Other games in the classic include Campbellsville (KY) against Oakwood at 2pmCT on Friday, and Saturday at 4pmCT Missouri Baptist will take on Campbellsville.



The Blue Raiders (4-0) return to action after defeating Brescia (Ky.) 85-60 on November 6. Ten players scored in the match-up, led by Reece Brooks with 20 points. Brooks leads Lindsey Wilson offensively averaging 5.3 assists and 19.5 points per game while shooting 50 percent from the field and 43.8 percent from behind the arc. Kel Stotts is chipping in with 15.8 points and 2.3 steals per game. Malik Hart is averaging just under 10 rebounds per game (9.8) while also contributing 6.8 points per game.

Missouri Baptist (2-1) is back in action after an 80-70 overtime victory over Webster (Mo.) on Tuesday, November 12. Jahmouri Robinson leads the Spartans with eight assists and 14 points per game while shooting 40.0 percent from the field. James McKelvin is contributing 12 points per game while snagging five rebounds per game. Brendon Hardy averages 5.3 rebounds per game to lead Missouri Baptist while also chipping in 11.7 points per game.
