Votes in: Gov. Bevin concedes 2019 election to Gov. elect Beshear The Adair County Board of Elections reported to work at exactly 9am local time along with all Kentucky county Boards today, Thursday, November 14, 2019, to recanvass the results of races of the November 5, 2019 General Election specifically to recanvass the race for Governor/Lt. Governor. No discrepancies were found in Adair County vote totals. In early afternoon, following county reports, Gov. Matt Bevin held a press conference in Frankfort and conceded the results to Gov. Elect Andy Beshear. Every County Board was responsible to recheck and recanvass the voting machines, per Kentucky law after Gov. Bevin put his request in writing. Totals showed over 5,000 votes separated Governor Matt Bevin and Attorney General Andy Beshear in the race for Governor/Lt. Governor. Results from today's recanvass are displayed at sos.ky.gov -- the final totals remain 709,890 to 704,754. This story was posted on 2019-11-14 14:02:49
