T.J. Community Mission Foundation annual foundation fundraiser By Stacey Biggs Glasgow, KY - T.J. Community Mission Foundation will be hosting their annual fundraiser on Saturday, November 16, 2019 starting at 6:30pmCT at the Cave City Convention Center, 502 Mammoth Cave St, Cave City, KY. All proceeds from the event will benefit the construction and opening of Shanti Niketan Hospice Home. Last year the event raised more than $50,000 thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and the community. This year is certain to be even larger. The theme this year is Peace, Love & A Beetle Bug. It will be a fun night with a 70's theme that is sure to be groovy. In keeping with the theme, 70's attire is recommended, though not required. There will be silent and live auctions and the chance to win a 1978 Champagne Edition VW Beetle Convertible on the night of the event. Entertainment will be provided by Dizzorderly Conduct. The Shanti Niketan Hospice Home is currently under construction and will be a 10,400 square foot facility located at 1060 Glenview Drive. The hospice home will include 8 inpatient rooms, kitchen and living spaces, and private areas for families and guests. Each patient room will have access to a private patio. To reserve tickets for Peace, Love and a Beetle Bug or for a chance to win the VW Beetle, please go online at www.tjsamson.org or call Mollie Felkins at 270-651-4522.
