LWC Men's Swimming defeats Life 183-61 on Saturday By Grace Blomstedt The Lindsey Wilson men's swim team defeated Life (GA) 183-61 in their dual today at the Holloway Center Natatorium. The Blue Raiders recorded six national A-cut standard times and six B standard times while claiming first place in 13 of 14 events. William Thilwind, Bryce Rice, Reece Kincaid and Ron Wolfart recorded the first A cut standard of the day in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of one minute and 38.61 seconds. James de Goede and Thilwind each tallied individual A cut standard times in the 100-yard backstroke. De Goede finished first in the event with a time of 53.14 and Thilwind claimed second place, touching the wall in 54.20. Reece Kincaid notched an A-cut time in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 52.99. Rice, Ricky Dungan, Tyler King and James de Goede picked up an A cut, first-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay recording a time of 1:31.00. The squad of Connor Barton, Joshua Seltz, Michael Peck, and Jordan Schaeffer also earned an A-cut time in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:35.86. Rice produced a first-place finish during the 100-yard breaststroke with a B cut time of 1:00.75. Wolfart placed second with a B-cut time of his own (1:00.86). De Goede claimed a B-cut standard time in the 50-yard freestyle as he swam his way to a first-place time of 22.31. De Goede notched another first-place finish with a B cut time of 49.09 in the 100-yard freestyle. Thilwind won the 200-yard backstroke with a B standard time of 2:00.91. Kincaid placed first in the 400-yard individual medley with a B-cut time of 4:24.23.
