LWC Women's golf holds on to 4th at Roadrunner Invitational By Christopher Coombs Cohutta, GA - The Lindsey Wilson women's golf team held on to their position in fourth place at the Roadrunner Invitational following the second of three rounds at the Roadrunner Invitational. The Blue Raiders shot a 319 during the second round of play at Nob North Golf Course, a par-72, 5,851-yard design. Lindsey Wilson was one stroke off their first-round mark of 318 during the middle round as they currently total 637 strokes for the tournament. Mid-South Conference competitor Cumberlands (Ky.) and Dalton State (Ga.) are tied for first place of the eight-team field after recording a 308 two day total. South Carolina Beaufort is in third at 622 strokes. Dacie Bolton and Claire McLaughlin once again matched each other's scores as both produced 80's to sit in a tie for 19th place. Both Bolton and McLaughlin have 158 strokes over their two rounds as each golfer recorded just one birdie on their second-round scorecard. Tara Rodenhurst also matched her two Lindsey Wilson teammate's performance and is tied for 21st after her second-round score of 80. Rodenhurst produced one birdie along with 11 pars. She has recorded 159 strokes for the tournament. Zofia Wojcik is in a tie for 28th with a 162 (83-79) as Megan Mann finishes day two in 39th with her 172 (89-83). Katie Biddlecombe competed as an individual at the event and turned in a 164 (87-77) to sit in 32nd place. Her second day total was the lowest by a Blue Raider.
