James B. (Jack) Chansler, 90, Kings Mtn, KY (1928-2019) James B. "Jack" Chansler, of Kings Mtn., passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2019, at Compassionate Care Center in Richmond. He was 90 years old. Cremation rites were honored by McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. No services will be held at this time. Born on October 20, 1928, in Casey County, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Ersia Chansler Hogan. James was a sawyer. He is survived by three sons, James Michael (Sandy) Chansler of Lancaster, Carl (Janie) Chansler of Liberty and Kenneth Chansler of Richmond; two daughters, Priscilla Bamba of Arizona and Jennifer Gail Childress of Yosemite; 17 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. James is also survived by a sister, Hazel of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Conner; and a son, Gary Lee Chansler.
