LWC Women's Golf finishes 3rd at MSC Fall Tournament By Christopher Coombs Lindsey Wilson produced a 328 on the first day of competition to sit in fourth place before shaving six strokes off their second-round total of 322 to finish the MSC Fall Tournament in third place with 650 total strokes. Cumberlands (KY) claimed the top spot after scoring a 615 (306-309) two day total as Cumberland (TN) finished second with a 632 (315-317) at the par 72, 6,002-yard Gibson Bay layout. Dacie Bolton finished in ninth place with a two day 160 (79-81). The result marks the 14th time in her career and the second time this season the senior has finished inside the top-10 at a competition. Fellow senior Tara Rodenhurst also finished inside the top-10 as she placed in a tie for 10th with a 161 (86-75). Rodenhurst was 1-under par through 11 holes before a string of four bogies across her final six holes pushed her to a 3-over par round. Claire McLaughlin tied for 13th place with a 163 (81-82) as Zofia Wojcik sat alone in 18th with a two day total 166 (82-84). Rounding out the Blue Raiders was Megan Mann who shot a 172 (87-85). Katie Biddlecome competed as an individual to finish in a tie for 26th place with a 173 (86-87) Lindsey Wilson returns to action on Oct. 21-22 at the Roadrunner Invitational at Nob North Golf Course in Cohutta, Georgia.
