Silent City event begins at 5pmCT today, rain or shine NOTE: Just decided: if it is raining at 3:30pmCT, the program will be inside the library. --Mike Watson Even if the much needed rains continue, the annual Silent City event will be held, beginning at the Adair County Public Library, today, October 7, 2019 at 5pmCT. The Silent City Cemetery Walk at the Columbia Cemetery, sponsored by the Adair County Public Library and the Adair County Genealogical Society, is a walking tour of the oldest cemetery in Columbia in its second decade.
