Casey Nichole Schaeffer, 32, Green Co., KY (1987-2019)

Mrs. Casey Nichole Schaeffer of Green County passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2019. she was 32 years old.

The Celebration of Life services for Casey Nichole Schaeffer will be conducted at 1pmCT on Monday, September 23, 2019 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Greensburg, KY, with cremation to follow. Bro. Jase Divens and Bro. Hayden Johnson will be officiating.

Visitation is requested from 4pmCT until 8pmCT on Sunday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT on Monday until time of the service.


Mrs. Casey Nichole Schaeffer of Green County, Kentucky, daughter of Debbie Sandusky Hayes of Campbellsville, Kentucky and the late Michael Schiesser, was born on Wednesday, April 15, 1987 in Melbourne, Florida and departed this life on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was 32 years, five months and four days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ, attended the Campbellsville Baptist Temple, and was a homemaker.

Survived by her husband of six years, Shawn Schaeffer of Green County having united in marriage on September 28, 2013.

Besides her mother and husband, Casey is survived by her step-father: Robert Hayes of Campbellsville; grandfather: Pete Daugherty of Campbellsville; a brother: Michael Schiesser of Bowling Green; two step-brothers and two step-sisters: Becca Hayes of Lebanon, Logan Hayes of Florida, Katie Hayes of Louisville, and Andrew Hayes of Lebanon; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Anthony and Nancy Schaeffer of Texas; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law: Jeff Schaeffer of Texas, Carrie and Kerry Graves of Alabama; a special friend: Shane Hagerty of Bowling Green; fur babies: Sophie and Molly; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Casey was also preceded in death by her; grandparents: Barbara Sandusky, Carl Edwin Sandusky, George Schiesser, and Charlotte Dobbs.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the family funeral expenses, which can be made at the funeral home.
