Census Jobs Hiring Event, Mon 30 Sept 2019

Brittany Nichols, Recruiting Assistant for the U.S. Census Bureau, will be hosting a hiring event on Monday, September 30, 2019 at the Adair County Public Library, 307 Greensburg St, Columbia, KY, from 9amCT until NoonCT.

You can also apply online to be a Census Taker at 2020census.gov/jobs.

Applicants must be 18 years old, a U.S. citizen, with a valid Social Security number, a valid email address, and be registered with the Selective Service System or have a qualifying exemption.



A criminal background check is required, including fingerprinting, to accept a census job, and applicants must be available to work flexible hours, inluding days, evenings, and weekends. Most census jobs require access to a vehicle and a valid driver's license, and access to a computer to complete training.
