LWC volleyball travels to Cumberland tonight By Brady Budke The No. 10-ranked Lindsey Wilson volleyball team returns to action tonight in Lebanon, Tennessee to take on Cumberland (TN) at 7pmCT at Dallas Floyd Phoenix Arena, 1 Cumberland Square , Lebanon, TN. In their last match, the Blue Raiders (10-3, 3-1 MSC) defeated Indiana Southeast in three sets at the IUS Activities Building on Tuesday night. Lindsey Wilson was led on offense by Kasia Niderla with 14 kills, and Camryn Rich with 23 assists. On defense, Lauren Larzelere and Peyton Johnston combined for 26 of the teams 45 digs. The Blue Raiders are led on offense this season by Niderla, who ranks first in the NAIA in hitting percentage (.421). Niderla also ranks third best in the Mid-South Conference averaging 4.2 kills/set. Autumn Proctor averages 6.6 assists/set for Lindsey Wilson, which ranks fifth best in the Mid-South Conference. On defense, Johnston leads Lindsey Wilson with 213 digs, which ranks fifth best in the Mid-South Conference. Niderla leads the team with 41 total blocks, which is tied for eight best in the Mid-South Conference. Cumberland (11-5, 3-0 MSC) comes into tonight on a three-match winning streak, including a five-set victory over No. 3-ranked Park (Mo.) on Sept. 14. The Phoenix also knocked off MSC preseason co-favorite Campbellsville (Ky.) in three sets on Tuesday night. The Phoenix rank seventh in the NAIA in total assists with 728, and 10th in total kills with 769. Masa Nalovic leads Cumberland on offense with 167 kills which ranks fifth best in the Mid-South Conference. On defense, Sadie Edmonston holds a total of 212 digs which ranks sixth best in the Mid-South Conference.
