Shelton Lee Davis, II, 59, Greensburg, KY (1960-2019) Shelton Lee Davis II of Greensburg, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday 25, 2019. He was 59 years old. A memorial service will take place Sunday, July 28, 2019 at 6pmCT, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 208 Mitchell Edwards Road, Sulphur Well, KY. A graveside service will be held on July 29, 2019 at 9amCT, in the Cemetery of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Sulphur Wells. Officiated by Bishop Gledhill. Pallbearers: Bill Trout, Scott Montgomery, Timothy Montgomery, Andrew Montgomery, Hezekiah Montgomery, Kylan Montgomery, John Davis, Tom Edmonds, John Grindstaff and Leslie Aycock. Shelton was born March 6, 1960 in Columbus Mississippi to Lydia Louise Stringer and Shelton Lee Davis. He was married to Brenda Montgomery on July 11, 1993. Shelton really enjoyed his job as a truck driver because he loved to travel. He was most was recently employed by Trans-Cor in Somerset. His hobbies included fishing and spending time with his family. He was generous and kind. He loved well and was well-loved by all family and friends. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Sulphur Well Community of Metcalfe County, KY. He was preceded in death by his wife Brenda, mother Lydia, and father Shelton. He is survived by his two step-sons and their wives; Scott and Kim Montgomery, Timothy and Melissa Montgomery, grandchildren Madison, Andrew, Alexander, Hezekiah, Chelsey and Kylan Montgomery , brother John Davis of Columbus Mississippi, and sisters, Genia Edmonds of Franklin NC, Elizabeth Grindstaff of Bruceville, Texas, and Betty Bealis of Noxapater, MS as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and great nieces and nephews.
