Adair County 4-H & Cloverbud Floral Hall Exhibits By Tony Rose Adair County Extension Agent for 4-H Youth Development Floral Hall exhibits will be entered on Monday, July 29, 2019, from 10amCT to NoonCT. Entries will be taken at the Adair County Cooperative Extension Service located at 409 Fairground St., Columbia, KY. Classes that youth ages 9-18 may enter are: Adair County youth ages 9-18 are encouraged to enter their 4-H projects in the Adair County Fair. Age is based on the youth's age as of January 1 of the calendar year of the Fair. Cloverbud youth (ages 5-8) may display their exhibits also during the County Fair. There will also be a Cloverbud category for youth ages 1-4 years old. For non-animal based projects, the Adair County Fair is the qualifying event for a youth to advance to the Kentucky State Fair. Viewing of exhibits will be on Monday, July 29, 2019, from 4pmCT to 7pmCT at the Extension Office and on Friday, July 30, 2019, from 8amCT to NoonCT. Entries must be picked up on Tuesday, July 30, 2019, from NoonCT to 4pmCT. Information about the categories and their requirements can be found on the Adair County Cooperative Extension Service webpage at adair.ca.uky.edu/content/county-state-fair or the office Facebook page.
