LWC Women's Tennis faces Georgetown in MSC Finals

Lindsey Wilson women's tennis faces Georgetown (KY) in the Mid-South Conference Championship Finals hosted at the Kelly Hall Tennis Complex, 315 Meader St., Campbellsville, KY.

The action is slated to begin at 10amCT on Saturday.


Lindsey Wilson earned a first-round bye after clinching the top seed in the tournament. The Blue Raiders are headed to the final round after defeating Cumberland (Tenn.) 5-4 in comeback fashion in the semifinals last weekend.

As for the Tigers, they opened the tournament with a 5-0 victory over Shawnee State (Ohio) before closing out the semifinals with a win over Cumberlands (Ky.) in a 5-4 finish as well.

Earlier this season, Lindsey Wilson defeated Georgetown 6-3 at home.

The Blue Raiders are looking to capture their 15th-straight tournament title on Saturday as they are scheduled to take on the Tigers at 10amCT from the Kelly Hall Tennis Complex in Campbellsville.
