LWC Athletics hosts Shoe Drive on Monday vs Fisk

Lindsey Wilson athletics hosts its annual shoe drive on Monday during the men's and women's basketball doubleheader with Fisk (TN) at Biggers Sports Center, 360 Spickard Drive, Columbia, KY. Tipoff for the women's game on Monday is 6pmCT with the men's game to follow at approximately 8pmCT.

Fans are encouraged to donate new or gently used shoes and socks for ministries inside the United States as well as to the countries of Belize, Costa Rica, Liberia, and Indonesia. Fans with a donation will receive free admission into the games.


The annual event is co-sponsored by Sports Reach and AutoSmart.

"We're excited to once again partnership with Sports Reach and AutoSmart for this outstanding cause," Lindsey Wilson athletics director Willis Pooler said. "I encourage all of our fans to bring as many pairs of shoes or socks as possible while cheering on our basketball teams."

Those who wish to donate, but unable to attend to the games, can drop off their donations at the Lindsey Wilson athletic offices any day prior to Monday's game.
