2009 ACHS Basketball team to be honored It's hard to believe that 10 years have passed since the Adair County Boys Basketball team captured the 2009 regional championship. The Adair County High School Boys Basketball Boosters will recognize and honor the 2009 regional championship team during the February 8, 2019, girls/boys doubleheader against Russell County. The 2009 Indians captured the Fifth Region crown by defeating Bardstown 63-56 in two overtimes, John Harden 51-43 in the semi finals, and North Hardin 82-76 in overtime in the championship game. The Indians eventually fell to Grayson County in the first round of the boys sweet 16, capping off a 26-8 season. The 2008-2009 Adair County High School Boys Basketball Team included:
