LWC Wrestling set to host Midway on Friday night By Christopher Coombs The No. 8-ranked Lindsey Wilson wrestling team is set to host Mid-South Conference foe Midway (KY) at 7pmCT on Friday at Biggers Sports Center, 360 Spickard Drive, Columbia, KY. Friday nights dual is the first dual meeting between the two programs. The Blue Raiders are returning to Biggers Sports Center after a second-place finish at the Missouri Valley Invite on Friday and Saturday. Lindsey Wilson's projected lineup for the dual is Cagen Wallace, Brady Moser, Trent Johnson, Austin Ramsey, Mark Taijeron, Bryce Hoffman, Brett Bradford, Lucas Miozza, Avery Buckman, and Brandon Reed. 7 of the 10 Blue Raiders projected to wrestle in Friday's dual are ranked nationally in the NAIA. Brandon Reed is the highest ranked Lindsey Wilson wrestler, sitting on top of the heavyweight class at the No.1 ranking. Trent Johnson is sixth in the 141-pound weight class with Latrell Davis and Brett Bradford both ranking eighth in their respective classes. Brady Moser rounds out the Blue Raiders ranked in the top-10 with a No. 9 ranking in the 133-pound weight class. As for the Blue Raiders outside of the top-10, Mark Taijeron ranks 14th in the 157-pound class with Lucas Miozza and Avery Buckman both ranking 20th in the 184-pound and 197-pound weight classes, respectively.
