ACSO: Single vehicle accident on LBN Parkway By Sheriff Josh Brockman Adair County Sheriff's Office On Monday, January 21, 2019, at 6:13pmCT, the Adair County Sheriff's Office responded to a single vehicle collision. Deputy Brandon Hitch was dispatched to mile marker 43 on the Louis B. Nunn Parkway, where he found that a 2007 Toyota Avalon being driven by Tyler Pollitte, 34, of Owensboro, Kentucky, had hit black ice and lost control. The vehicle, which had been traveling east, spun around, crossed the median, and struck the guardrail in the westbound lane of traffic. Adair County EMS responded and treated Pollitte and his passenger William Long, also of Owensboro, on the scene. Pollitte and Long were then transported to TJ Health of Columbia for additional treatment. Deputy Brandon Hitch is the Investigating Deputy. This story was posted on 2019-01-23 17:56:44
