LWC swimming to host Campbellsville on Senior day By Benjamin Riegger The Lindsey Wilson men and women's swimming team host Campbellsville University in a dual meet on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at NoonCT at Holloway Center Natatorium in the Holloway Health & Wellness Center, 399 Williams St., Columbia, KY. Before the start of the meet, five seniors will be honored for their commitment to Lindsey Wilson swimming. Clemens Paetzold represents the men's program, while Cailtin Freeny, Bailey Seitz, Harlee Smock and Emily wood represent the women's program. No. 7 Lindsey Wilson women's swimming team (7-1) returns to action after sweeping 10-of-11 events and defeating Campbellsville 614-300 and Bethel (Tenn.) 517-314 at the 2nd biennial Tiger Pentathlon on January 12. Carlene Taylor led the Blue Raiders achieving three individual first place finishes in 100 butterfly in 1:14.96, 100 freestyle in 1:05.55 and 200 individual medley in 2:37.88. Sloane Smith chipped in with a first place victory in 100 breaststroke and a B-cut in 1:20.93. Saturday's dual marks 19th meeting with Campbellsville as Lindsey Wilson is leading the series 18-0. No.8 Lindsey Wilson men's swimming (6-2) returns to action after defeating both Campbellsville 463-435 and Bethel 508-340. The men captured eight first place finishes, adding an A-cut and two B-cut standards. Ron Wolfart led LWC with four individual first place finishes and a B-cut. Wolfart captured first in the 100 backstroke in 1:04.53, 100 breaststroke in 1:11.23 and 200 individual medley in 2:24.79. Wolfart notched a B-cut and another first place finish in the 100 freestyle in 55.63. Pedro Terra chipped in with two first place finishes in the 200 freestyle in 2:04.76 and 400 freestyle in 4:25.97.
