LWC men and womens swimming win at Tiger Pentalthon

Campbellsville, KY - The Lindsey Wilson women's swimming team competed at the 2nd Biennial Tiger Pentathlon at Powell Athletic Center Pool on Friday evening in Campbellsville, Ky.

The Lady Blue Raiders (7-1 in dual meets) finished the evening with 10 first-place finishes, one a-cut and a b-cut. LWC took 10 out the 11 events swam to defeat both Campbellsville (Ky.) 614-300, and Bethel (Tenn.) 571-314.

The Men (6-2 in dual meets) finished the evening with eight first-place finishes, one A-cut and two B-cuts. LWC defeated both Campbellsville (Ky.) 463-435, and Bethel (Tenn.) 508-340.

The Blue Raiders are back in action against Campbellsville University at NoonCT on January 19, 2019, at the Natatorium in the Holloway Health & Wellness Center, 399 Williams St., Columbia, KY.

The relay of Sarah Hahn, Sloane Smith, Hailey Russo and Caitlin Freeny finished in first-place and an A-cut in the 400 medley relay in 5:13.62.

Carlene Taylor led the women's side with three first-place finishes in the 100 butterfly in 1:14.96, 100 freestyle in 1:05.55 and 200 individual medley in 2:37.88.

Bailey Seitz chipped in with two individual first-place finishes in 25 freestyle (13.29 seconds) and 50 Free in 30.22 seconds.

Emily Wood finished first in the 400 freestyle in 5:11.71 and Sloane Smith finished in first in 100 breaststroke, notching a B-cut with a time of 1:20.93.

The relay of Carlene Taylor, Wood, Emma Phillips and Sarah Lawson finished in first-place in 400 freestyle relay with a time of 4:44.11.

The Lindsey Wilson men's swimming team competed at the 2nd Biennial Tiger Pentathlon at Powell Athletic Center Pool on Friday evening in Campbellsville, Ky.

The relay of Michael Peck, Bryce Rice, Ron Wolfart and Jordan Schaffer finished in first with an A-cut in the 400 medley relay in the time of 4:21.60.

Wolfart led the men's team with a total of four individual first place finishes and a B-cut. Wolfart finished first in 100 backstroke (1:04.53), 100 Breaststroke (1:11.32) and 200 individual medley (2:24.79). Wolfart also finished first in 100 freestyle and a B-cut with a time of 55.63.

Pedro Terra notched himself two first-place finishes in 200 freestyle (2:04.76) and 400 freestyle in 4:25.97.

Clemens Paetzold also notched himself a B-cut in the 100 freestyle in 55:80 seconds.

The relay of Terra, Wolfart, Paetzold, and Olek Olejnik notched a first-place finish in the 400 freestyle relay in the time of 3:55.93.
