LWC men's basketball hosts Boyce on Tuesday

The Lindsey Wilson men's basketball team hosts Boyce (KY) at 7pmCT on Tuesday, December 4 at Biggers Sports Center, 360 Spickard Drive, Columbia, KY.


The Blue Raiders (5-4) defeated Simmons College (Ky.) 94-61 on Monday evening. Fredens Deneus recorded his fourth double-double of the season with 14 points and 12 rebounds. The Blue Raiders as a team shot 55 percent from the field and 44 percent from the three-point line against the Falcons.

Lindsey Wilson's defensive effort is holding opponents shooting to 37.5 percent from the field and 25.8 percent from beyond the arc.

Boyce (0-7) returns to action after a 111-46 loss to NCAA Division III, Oglethorpe (Ga.) on Saturday afternoon. The Bulldogs are led by AJ Caldwell, who averages 14 points per game while shooting 42 percent from the field.

Tuesday's matchup marks the second meeting between the Bulldogs and the Blue Raiders, with LWC leading the series at 1-0. Lindsey Wilson met Boyce last season, resulting in a 100-43 victory for the Blue Raiders.
