Christmas Card Village open for anyone wanting to add one

By Ellen Zornes, Columbia Adair Chamber of Commerce

Christmas is coming...and with it our Christmas Card Village.

We're doing it a little differently this year with the card village being on Greensburg Street in the Columbia Baptist Church lot where Mrs. Alta Garnett's house stood. We feel that will be a safe, yet visible spot for the cards.

Remember to cut out a hole for a child's face so he/she can actually be part of the card for pictures.

These can be put up any time on a first come, first served basis of picking your card's spot but by Christmas in Columbia, December 1, 2018 would be great since so many people will be out and about that day.

But any time before Christmas is fine. Remember the cards need to be weather proof and securely grounded from gusty winds. Can't wait to see this year's cards!
