Mollie Vaughn, 92, Liberty, KY (1926-2018) Mollie was a seamstress. She loved gardening, quilting, singing, cooking and spending time with her family. Mollie Vaughn, of Liberty, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at Liberty Care and Rehab. She was 92 years old. The funeral service will be held at 11amET on Friday, November 2, 2018, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville St, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Hershel Lawhorn officiating. Burial will follow in Gum Lick Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5pmET to 8pmET on Thursday, November 1, 2018, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Born on April 13, 1926, in Casey County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late W.C. "Buddy" and Myrtle Grooms Emerson. Mollie was a seamstress. She loved gardening, quilting, singing, cooking and spending time with her family. Mollie was a member of Shady Grove Separate Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn (Gerald) Clements and Brenda (Johnny) Williams, both of Liberty; three sons, Roger (Debbie) Vaughn, Darrell (Barbara) Vaughn and Chester (Debbie) Vaughn, all of Liberty; twelve grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; and sixteen great-great-grandchildren. Additional survivors include several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Merl Vaughn, who passed away on May 10, 2010; two grandchildren, Wally Williams and Troy Ray Vaughn; a great-grandchild, Jacob Lee; seven sisters, Edith Wright, Beulah Farris, Ollie Allen, Marie Allen, Alice Hayes Henderson, Donnie Lee and Ida Grooms; and six brothers, Amos Emerson, Everett Emerson, Pete Emerson, Leslie Emerson, John Emerson and James Emerson. Pallbearers will be Mikel, Kevin, Jason, Brad, Randy, Chad, Richie, Aaron and Johnny Darrell. Arrangements are entrusted to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
