Wanda Lou Holmes McDonald, 67, Liberty, KY (1951-2018)

Wanda was a homemaker and enjoyed embroidery work.

Wanda Lou Holmes McDonald, of Liberty, KY, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018, at the Casey County Hospital. She was 67 years of age.

A graveside service will be held at 11amET on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at Poplar Hill Cemetery, Iven Godbey Rd., Liberty, KY, with Brother James D. McDonald officiating. Burial will follow in Poplar Hill Cemetery.


Born July 27, 1951, in Casey County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Paul Holmes and the late Edna Ross Coleman. Wanda was a homemaker and enjoyed embroidery work.

Survivors include her husband, Dale McDonald of Liberty; two sons, Jerry Holmes and Emery McDonald, both of Liberty; one brother, Alford Holmes of Liberty; and two sisters, Pauline Cox of Liberty, and Rita Elliott.

In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Jean Henline.
