JC Johnson thanks Little League Board for making things right

JC Johnson writes:
I had no intention to cause any embarrassment or judgment to the board or any individual on the board of the Little League. My question was directed to the Parks and Recreation board, I thought they had the new sign put up, maybe I was wrong on that. Once again I apologize to anyone who thought I had the wrong intentions. I just wanted to make things right, and thanks to the Little League board for doing that. --JC Johnson

Commends Little League Board for super Park

Just wanted Mr. Johnson's name back where it belongs; not critical of anyone

Joe Hare writes:
I appreciate hearing from the Little League board and learning that this was all a misunderstanding.

If I had known who was on the board, I probably would have called them as well as sent a comment to Columbia Magazine. There was nothing personal pointed at any indiviuals I only knew what I saw.

WEDNESDAY with CM, June 8, 2011

The Joe Johnson Edition on Tuesday, June 7, 2011
was an outpouring of love for a Great Adair Countian and the Adair County Little League program. Tributes to Joe Johnson are throughout the Tuesday with CM for June 7, 2011. The issue of the sign was secondary and now somewhat insignificant. The depth of love for Mr. Johnson and for the Adair County Little League program were what mattered, and the community is much, much better for it. Thanks, J.C. Johnson, for pointing out the slight, the oversight, which we've now learned was unintended, unfortunate as it was. -EW
