Cassie Rowlett qualifies for 4-H State Horse Show With wins at District 4-H Horse Show in Liberty, KY Click on headline for story plus photo(s) By Sandra Rowlett News from the AC Spurs 4-H Horse Club Cassie Rowlett, member of the Adair County Spurs 4-H Horse Club competed at the District 5 4-H Horse Show on Saturday May 28, 2011 in Liberty, KY at the Central Kentucky Ag Expo Center. The scoring was based on the Danish Scoring system used by the 4-H Foundation. Cassie placed 9th in Western Showmanship II, 3rd place and a Blue Ribbon in Western Pleasure Walk/Jog, and 2nd place and a Blue Ribbon in Western Horsemanship Walk/Jog. Cassie is now qualified to compete at the 4-H State Horse Show in July to be held in Louisville, KY at Broadbent Arena. Cassie would like to thank all of her friends and family who came out to support her and her riding instructor and trainer Debbie Shone, Solitaire Farms, of Glasgow, KY along with her daughter Katie Yocum and fellow student Landyn Snyder for making her day enjoyable and successful. The Adair County Spurs 4-H Club meets the first Thursday night of each month at the Adair County Extension office located on Fairground St. We will not meet again until August due to the summer break.
