Emergency Management, sends word of an afternoon update from the National Weather Service in Louisville, KY, about wind advisories this evening and possible severe storms on Wednesday night. A Wind Advisory remains in effect for all of central KY and southern IN from 6pmCT/7pmET this evening, Tuesday, February 14, 2023, through 6amCT/7amET on Wednesday. Gusts of 40-50 mph are likely, with localized gusts over 50 mph possible. The timing of highest wind gusts will be from 6pmCT to MidnightCT tonight. 7 PM EST to 1 AM EST tonight. Loose outdoor items will be blown around, and small limbs could fall, isolated power outages are possible, and travel in high profile vehicles could be difficult, especially on W to E oriented roadways. Strong to severe storms remain possible late Wednesday night into Thursday. All severe hazards are on the table, but damaging winds will be the primary threat. Second annual Student Art Show at Trabue-Russell House From Barry Loy The Trabue-Russell House announces the second annual Art Show for Students pre-K thru 12.
