Betty Jo Cox, 82, Campbellsville, KY (1940-2023) Mrs. Betty Jo Cox of Campbellsville departed this life on Monday, February 13, 2023 at Grandview Nursing and Rehab. She was 82 years old. There will be a graveside service to honor the life of Mrs. Betty Jo Cox at 1pmET on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at the Green River Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery, 3441 Old Columbia Rd., Campbellsville, KY. Family and Friends will officiate. Mrs. Betty Jo Cox was born in Taylor County, KY on September 30, 1940, to the late Paul Parker and Fannie Willis Parker. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Cox was retired from the Fruit of the Loom Company. She leaves to cherish her memory: Two brothers and three sisters: Sue Munday, Peggy Hatcher, Jackie Parker and wife Abby, Jerry Parker and wife Sandra and Kaye Robison. One son-in law: Ricky Barnes. Three grandchildren: Chris Davis and wife Leslie, Joseph Davis and wife Aubrey, and Tyler Barnes. Six great-grandchildren: Parker Davis, Pace Davis, Paxton Davis, Beau Davis, Jasper Barnes, and Tyson Barnes, and a host of other family and friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth M. Cox, and two daughters: Debbie Davis (Jerry) and Libby Barnes. One brother: Jimmy Ray Parker Memorials are suggested to be donations to Green River Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery. L.R. Petty Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
