Call for ISP host parents For more information, contact ISP at isp@lindsey.edu. By Landon Simmons With the end of the semester rapidly approaching, the LWC International Student Program (ISP) is excitedly preparing to greet a new cohort of students for the upcoming Spring semester! The college currently has 140+ students enrolled representing 44 different countries, and ISP is expecting over 40 more students to join next semester--dozens of which will have the opportunity to be matched with families as part of our Host Family Program. ISP is fortunate enough to partner with families from the local community who are willing to host and befriend these students during the school year. Host families DO NOT provide housing for the students. Instead, host families provide friendship and a support system here in America to make the transition to and time in the U.S. a little bit easier. ISP is currently asking for new families to join the program and help create a friendly, comforting, home-away-from-home atmosphere here at LWC for each international student.
