David Hawkins, 46, Hodgenville, KY (1976-2022)

David Ray Hawkins of Hodgenville passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at his home. He was 46 years old.

Cremation rites were honored by Bernard Funeral Home. A memorial service honoring David's life will be held at a later date.

Born September 18, 1976, in Monticello, he was a son of the late Joyce Hawkins Back. David was a former pet groomer. He was truly a people person and loved his family. David enjoyed being outdoors, whether he was hunting, fishing, or camping at the Rockhouse.

Survivors include his uncles, Jimmy Hawkins of Russell Springs, Jack Hawkins and Clifford Hawkins, both of Ohio; his aunts, Barbara James of Russell Springs, Emma Burns of Arkansas, and Earlene Vicory, and Tina Hall, both of Ohio; and a very special friend, Shawn-Noel Land of Hodgenville.

In addition to his mother, David was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Hawkins.

An online guestbook is available at www.bernardfuneralhome.com.
