We are changing things up a bit this year to include door to door trick or treating locations as well.

Below is a list of all the locations (so far) that are planning to participate in the Adair Co. Drive-Thru Trick or Treat Extravaganza:

Historic M & W Milling property up for auction (Sponsored)

This history of M & W Milling is sponsored by Golden Rule-Wilson. Bidding for the historic M & W Milling property is taking place in an Online-Only, Absolute Auction that ends this coming Tuesday, November 1, 2022.

M & W Milling has been serving Adair County and the surrounding area for over 50 years now. M & W Milling came to be in 1969 when the owner of a local feed mill, Tom Tabor, approached local farmer Harold Willis about selling him the mill. Soon after that meeting, Mr. Willis teamed up with Bill McClendon, and M & W Milling was formed.

McClendon and Willis first operated the feed mill on Hudson Street in Columbia, near where Udell's Fruit Market is located today. Mr. Willis sold out to Mr. McClendon about 4 years later, and Mr. McClendon continued operating the mill through the 1970s, when he sold it out to Homer & Bertha Goodin.

During the Goodin's ownership, in 1981, they moved the M & W Milling operation to its current location at 510 Short Street in Columbia.
