Bersaglia named LWC Director of Choral Activities

From Duane Bonifer

When Jennifer Bersaglia was helping to find a director of choral activities for Lindsey Wilson College, she soon realized that she had a strong candidate for the position -- herself.

The Somerset, Kentucky, resident comes to Lindsey Wilson with an impressive resume of musical expertise and experiences, including more than two decades of teaching music.

As Lindsey Wilson director of choral activities, Bersaglia will lead the school's choral groups, including the legendary Lindsey Wilson Singers, as well as teach music courses.

"I'm thrilled to be joining the Lindsey Wilson community," said Bersaglia, who is also conductor of the Kentucky Baptist Women's Chorale, an ensemble that tours the state. "It's certainly an exciting time to be part of the transition to Lindsey WIlson University."

Basketball: Lady Indians victorious against Jaguars

By Trey Stephens, Staff Writer

On Monday, June 9, 2025, the Adair County Lady Indians defeated East Jessamine 61-51 at Campbellsville High School in their latest summer ball outing.

The Jaguars of East Jessamine are coming off a 10-20 season, but graduated only one senior last year and returned nearly all of their production. The Lady Indians were bested by East Jessamine very early last season 53-51, but were able to get the best of the Jaguars this time by double digits.

The team notches yet another win to the growing number of victories early on in the 2025 summer ball season, after two big wins last week. They will seek to continue to grow together and improve as they work towards the start of regular season.
