Letter: Huge cloud of smoke close to Columbia Wal-Mart

Beth writes:
I saw a huge plume of smoke or steam rising fast from what looked to me from the Cumberland Parkway on Wednesday...other people witnessed it too and there are no posts, mentions of it in any local papers, nothing on Google. I know it had to come from something cause it was a lot...lot, lot, lot of smoke all at once. I was just wondering what me and others saw.
Beth, thanks for writing. We'll post any official info as we receive it, but if any readers have information, please use our Contact Form and let us know.

Oliver began his presentation by saying, "When I was doing research in the fantastic, I realized that one of the main things people focus on in literature is how it's pieced together. With fantasy, I realized that people focus on larger thematic themes, so I asked myself 'What would happen if I read a fantasy novel like Virginia Woolf?'"
