Softball: LWC sweeps Thomas More

Florence, KY - At Thomas More Stadium on Monday, the 10 days off in-between games did not seem to phase the Lindsey Wilson softball team as much as the homestanding Saints may have hoped. Instead, the Blue Raiders got their offensive gears grinding for 24 total runs across 21 hits to extend their season-long win-streak to six games.

On the day, Za'Kiya Sizemore produced a team-leading five runs batted in on four hits, and Alexis Garayzar, Desiree Chang and Cheyenne Sandoval each contributed three hits while combining for 10 RBIs.

The Blue Raiders return home to Marilyn D. Sparks Park on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, to host Midway University (KY). The first pitch of the non-conference doubleheader is slated for 1pmCT.
