Swimming: LWC set for dual against Shawnee State The Lindsey Wilson men and women's swim teams are set for their second home contest of the season when they take on Shawnee State (OH) on Saturday. The dual is slated to begin at NoonCT at the Holloway Natatorium. Live video of the dual will be available on the Lindsey Wilson Sports Network. The Blue Raiders opened their season two weeks ago where the men claimed a first-place finish at the LWC Fall Frenzy and the women finished in second place. KSP: Investigation of fatal Green Co. collision From Trooper Jonathan Houk Greensburg, KY - On October 7, 2022 at approximately 2:09pmCT, Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 15 Troopers responded to a two-vehicle injury collision at the intersection of US 68 and KY 61 in the limits of Greensburg. The preliminary investigation revealed that Wanda Carter, age 72 of Greensburg, was traveling south on KY 61 in a 2015 Jeep Patriot when she failed to stop at the US 68/KY 61 intersection traffic light. Ms. Carter's vehicle entered the intersection and collided with a 2004 International truck traveling west on US 68. The International truck was being operated by Darrell Wright, age 50 of Greensburg. XC: LWC Women 1st, Men 4th at Brescia Invitational Owensboro, KY - The Lindsey Wilson women's cross country team finished in first place at the Brescia Invitational on Friday afternoon, October 7, 2022, and the Lindsey Wilson men's cross country team finish in fourth place at the event. The Lady Blue Raiders bested 10 other programs at the event, and the men competed against 11 other programs in the 8k race. The Blue Raiders Cross Country teams return to action on October 22, when they compete at the Great Lakes Challenge in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
