Phillip Coffey - No Honorariums

By Phillip Coffey
What a blessing, some of whom are now in Heaven
That have chosen 'the straight and the narrowed'!
Never seeking fame and fortune - 'down in the trenches'.
No ribbon cutting, gifts with bows or honorariums.

So many exquisite treasures laid up for the taking
While caring for suffering ,poor, disabled and discarded
By societies longing for the less fruitful - lesser rewarding.
"Carry on my more enduring friends - success in the 'morrows'."
