Marsy's Law amendment will be on ballot, despite ruling

The following question will appear on the ballot in Kentucky's upcoming General Election on Tuesday, November 6, 2018:
Constitutional Amendment
Are you in favor of providing constitutional rights to victims of crime, including the right to be treated fairly, with dignity and respect, and the right to be informed and to have a voice in the judicial process?
However, Franklin Circuit Judge Thomas Wingate ruled on October 15, 2018, that the question on the ballot was so vague that it cannot be certified as official. His ruling came after the ballots were certified, and election officials will count the votes for or against the amendment, in case Wingate's ruling is reversed on appeal.

More on the proposed amendment is available at ballotpedia.org
