Taylor sees only new Hepatitis-A case reported in area No additional cases of Hepatitis A were reported in Adair, Casey Green, Metcalfe or Russell Counties between October 6 and October 13, 2018, but one additional Hepatitis A case was reported in Taylor Co. during that period, according to the latest report from Kentucky Department for Public Health, available at chfs.ky.gov. No data was available for Cumberland County. Taylor has seen 1-3 addition cases per week for the last several weeks of reporting, bringing the total to 36 reported cases during the August 1, 2017 – October 13, 2018 period covered by the KY DPH's most recent publication (Acute Hepatitis A Outbreak Week 41 Report (PDF).
