Basketball: Lady Indians fall to Bulldogs, now face Scotties

By Trey Stephens, Staff Writer

On Saturday, January 4, 2025, the Lady Indians of Adair County High School fell to the John Hardin Lady Bulldogs, 56-45, in the Central Hardin Lady Bruins New Year's Classic.

The Lady Indians now stand at 5-7, but look to return to winning ways when they face the 2-10 Glasgow Lady Scotties at home. Tipoff is set for 6pmCT on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. The game will be followed by the Adair/Glasgow Boys game. This will be the first Boy's Girl's home doubleheader of the season, come cheer on your Indians and Lady Indians!

This matchup against a 2-10 Glasgow will be a welcome opportunity to help the Lady Indians get back to winning ways. The Lady Indians will look to improve on the 36.5% they shot in their last outing against John Hardin and keep the Lady Scotties down towards to the 24% they shot from the floor in their last game.

Glasgow lacks a major leading scorer with their last three games featuring three different leading scorers. Adair County will also hope to limit the Lady Scotties rebounding, as Glasgow is 1-1 this season when posting over 30 rebounds while 1-9 when they don't.
