Basketball: Indians face Scotties at home

By Trey Stephens, Staff Writer

The Adair County Indians Boys varsity basketball team will be back on the court at 7:30pmCT today, Tuesday January, 7, 2025, against the Glasgow Scotties in their home opener.

The Scotties record sits at 3-9 coming off a 67-59 loss at the hands of University Heights in the German American Bank Shootout. The Indians, now 8-4, also come off a loss, in a close 2-point defeat to Russell County in the 2A sectional. The Scotties shot 47% from the floor in their last outing and 28% from three, and were lead in scoring by Sophomore Jaylen Bradley with 17.

The Indians look to improve on their 41% shooting from the last game in order to have a good outcome in this one.
