ACSO: Adair man arrested for imprisonment From Sheriff Josh Brockman Adair County Sheriff's Office On Friday, May 24, 2024, at around 7:03amCT, Deputy Gary Roy and Sheriff Josh Brockman was dispatched to the 9000 block of KY 80 East to check on the safety of the residents. Initially a call had been placed to Probation Officer Dustin Harvey in Columbia by a female stating that a man who is under the supervision of the KY Department of Probation and Parole was holding her and 4 children in their home and not allowing them to leave. When Sheriff's officers arrived, they found that the doors had been padlocked and reinforced, and the man refused to open the door. Eventually he was spotted by Deputy Roy going out side door of house, and he was taken into custody. State releases county unemployment data for April 2024 From Mike Clark/Kim Saylor Brannock Frankfort, KY - Unemployment rates rose in 118 counties between April 2023 and April 2024 and fell in Ballard and Lewis counties, according to the Kentucky Center for Statistics (KYSTATS), an agency within the Kentucky Education and Labor Cabinet.
Washington and Woodford counties recorded the lowest jobless rates in the commonwealth at 3.2% each. They were followed by Fayette, Marion and Oldham counties, 3.4% each; Scott and Shelby counties, 3.5% each; and Anderson, Bourbon, Carroll, Jessamine and Spencer counties, 3.6% each. William Earl Henderson, 88, Green County, KY William Earl Henderson of Summersville, Kentucky, son of the late Earl Henderson and Nancy Lewis Young Henderson, was born on Thursday, March 12, 1936 in Louisville, Kentucky and passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at his home. He was 88 years, 2 months, 11 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of Summersville Baptist Church, and served as a deacon for 50 plus years. He enjoyed being active in the church along with being a Sunday School teacher for many years. He was also a member of the William B. Allen Masonic Lodge #704 and worked as a farmer.
