Letter: What about roundabouts?

Tim M. writes:
Maybe we should consider roundabouts instead of lights and signs. Statistically, they are much safer and have far less accidents. Just a thought.
Since Adair County has had a prominent roundabout since way, way before they were cool again, this seems like something we could do better than most. --Pen

The Battle is Won

By Daniel Hedges

On March the 9th, 2017 I penned the following letter:
I just wanted to take a minute and thank the community, school staff, and administration for the support during this season. Let me assure you that the coaching staff is greatly disappointed in the ending. A gut wrenching experience cannot start to describe the emotion of the last 48 hours. We wanted badly to take this community and school to the big house, where legends are made-RUPP! When Coach Breeze and I arrived two years ago, that was the goal. We are proud of the kids and they are a great bunch! We will press forward until the battle is won! Go Indians!
I am happy to say we kept fighting and battling. Tears of sadness are now tear of joy. The battle has been won! See you at Rupp! ROLL TRIBE!

Letter: Plenty of traffic signals

Vicki Brock writes:
A stop light won't prevent wrecks. Until everyone pays attention at stop signs/lights, there will be wrecks. I think we have plenty of traffic signals for the size of our town. Human error is the cause of most accidents. I dont have any suggestions on how to change human behavior. Billy Joe do you? If you and I could come up with something to fix that we'd be rich!
