Share it and you'll feel better Sadness can turn life to drudgery. Life does it to all of us. Disappointment, loss or periods of loneliness can make us feel sad. How we deal with the sadness can influence how well and how quickly we recover. Psychotherapist Carol Juengersen Sheets says some people deal with it outwardly. Some just keep it inside. This can be a mistake because it lasts longer. Sadness can sap energy, zap concentration and reduce productivity. No one wants to exhibit a sad attitude to friends and family, but letting them know what's going on with you has its benefits. Learn about Physicians in Early Adair Co. at next ACGS meeting By Mike Watson Early settlers in the Adair County area had limited access to expert medical attention. However, the growing frontier of Kentucky saw practitioners of the medical arts--such as they were--set up shop in every town. Students of medicine would "read medicine" with established doctors and, when the teacher deemed them ready, would go out into their own practice. Some of these doctors were good at their profession, some were not. Most people did their own primitive doctoring, but at times a professional was needed. CMC Metcalfe opens doors in Edmonton From Kim Harwood, Executive Director Edmonton Metcalfe County Chamber of Commerce The Edmonton-Metcalfe County Chamber of Commerce welcomed Community Medical Care to Edmonton with a ribbon cutting on Thursday morning. As you drove out West Stockton Street you would have noticed a large crowd gathered in front of the T J Health Edmonton Clinic. Chamber President Daniel Bragg welcomed those in attendance on behalf of the Chamber of Commerce, and introduced Randy Burns, Executive Director. Randy Burns welcomed the crowd and spoke with great passion about the Community Medical Program. Community Medical Care originated in Barren County and has been serving the community for 22 years.
