COMMENT: Outstanding community policing

Mayor Pamela Hoots comments on City Police

We have an outstanding police department. The great work they do may not be fully known or appreciated. They are a large part of the reason we can all live in such a safe and secure community.

Additionally, we provide three full time resource officers to the Adair Public School System. We all owe a debt of gratitude to these selfless public servants.

There have been many power outages in our area, and rain-slick roads make travel a concern. Snow is in the forecast so the decision has been made to cancel this event and we'll hope for better weather in February.
