Kinetic to offer fiber internet in Campbellsville Campbellsville, KY - Some 6,100 homes and businesses in Campbellsville and surrounding parts of Taylor County will, for the first time, be equipped for high-speed fiber internet, network provider Kinetic and government officials announced recently. Kinetic officials say the company plans to lay nearly 80 miles of underground optical fiber cable to bring high-speed internet to the county. The project is expected to be completed by March 2023. Wednesday's announcement followed a county Fiscal Court presentation by Kinetic officials before County Judge-Executive Barry T. Smith and the court's six magistrates Tuesday night, October 11, 2022. Adair Co. Primary Center offers 21st CCLC Programming By Alma Rich Adair County Primary Center is a co-applicant with Lindsey Wilson College which is pursuing a grant opportunity to continue 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) at Adair County Primary Center. Because this grant program is funded through federal dollars, private and non-public school students who meet each programs' priority guidelines are eligible to participate in the program if awarded. These funds are not allowed to provide equipment or fund programs directly to the private or homeschool but do allow participation in the program at Adair County Primary Center. He replied, "Why do you think you won't?" I replied, "Because I'm getting long in the tooth." His reply, "People our age are the ones going on these trips." I then had hope. Traveling is what I like to do, but it has become a hassle. Getting through an airport, fighting the crowds, sitting scrunched up for several hours with my knees to my neck are expected with air travel. However, destination driving is also tiresome. Fighting construction, trucks, barriers, and narrow lanes bring on "nerves." Even with all this, I like driving trips because I can pick out places to stop along the way and eat at unfamiliar restaurants. This brings me to our latest trip to South Carolina to visit Guy's sister, Carolyn Berry.
