Phillip Coffey: Placid View

Placid View by Phillip Coffey

Going through a dry spell though there is a flood of information in my salt and peppered head.
Most of it spread inside the details of the internet-misleading just short of ultimately- spiritual death.
Surely, we have more hope and sincerity in our streets to forbid unequivocally all the seedy following
Of the distasteful hideous crimes against humanity-worse of all to the seasoned aged and innocence of children.

Do an 'about face,' clicking the 'enough already' heels defiantly against the hordes of deceiving leaders
Taking stands with false propaganda, Josef Goebel would be proud - return instead to the Holy Scriptures
Telling of Christ Supreme Sacrifice for all of us that dare believe in forgiveness and mercy that take up the cross and follow.
Calmness slowly returning, sought with my shared thoughts, love and laughter among the misty mountains in the placid view.
